Özen Konveyör is an engineering firm operating in Kahramanmaraş since 1949, and from the first generation until the 1970s, it produced various machines and machine parts for the textile and food industries.

In the early 1970s, with the increasing global demand for energy, Faik Oğulmuş, a second-generation Mechanical Engineer, recognized the need for conveyor systems in thermal power plants and mines in Turkey and shifted the production focus to the mining sector. With this change, Özen Konveyör concentrated on the production of machinery and equipment (conveyor rollers, drive drums, idler drums, conveyor stations, roller frames, and roller clamping plates) used in conveyor systems for the mining and solid waste transportation industries. In this way, Özen Konveyör continues its operations as the region's first and only manufacturer.
