Project Name: Enhancing International Competitiveness in the Rubber Sector Through Value-Added Products and New Market Targets
Project Code: 17.UR-GE.036
Project Start - End Date: 05.06.2017 - 15.01.2021
The project “Developing International Competitiveness in the Rubber Sector with the Goal of Value-Added Products and New Markets” (17.UR-GE.036), which we carried out and completed within the framework of the Communiqué No. 2010/8 on Supporting the Development of International Competitiveness, has been successfully completed.
The project, which started with 25 companies, was completed with 24 member companies after one company ceased operations. Seven member companies that had no exports at the beginning of the project have started exporting. Of those already exporting, four companies have increased their export numbers and international connections.
Throughout the project, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone and our cluster provided foreign trade personnel support to 12 companies. The employed personnel received 3 months of training organized by the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Foreign Trade Coordination Office, covering all processes of foreign trade, and their training was monitored.
With this support, member companies have gained access to new markets, improved their foreign trade processes, and a foreign trade culture has begun to be established in companies that do not export.
